Who Is Eligible for Hospice?

Hospice is designed for individuals facing a life-limiting illness where goals transition from curative treatments to symptom relief and quality of life.

Key Qualifications:

  • Physician certification of life expectancy of 6 months or less if the illness runs its natural course.
  • Transition from curative hospitalizations to comfort-oriented palliative relief.
